FARM TOUR MAYWOOD FIG FARM
Bob Steinacher has been growing Figs at Maywood Farm since the late 80’s. With financial support of his family, Bob left his home in the Bay Area to set out and be a farmer. Land was affordable in Corning and the local farm advisor board was looking for someone to come in and grow figs. So, figs it was!

Meet the grower! Family-owned Vista Punta Gorda grows organic avocados and lemons on their farm in Ventura, CA overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Their farming philosophy centers on regenerative, organic practices, that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability over quick fixes.

WILD RIVER FRUIT
Wild River is a 3rd generation farm founded by the Noland Family, they farm on 400 acres in the flood plain of the Yuba River and Feather Rivers, which flow from the Sierras into the Sacramento Valley. Every 10 years the water overflows into their farm, which helps to continuously build extremely fertile soil for growing Kiwis.
“THE LITTLE ORGANIC FARM” -LA GRANJITA ORGANICA
La Granjita or “The Little Organic Farm” is a small 2.5 acre farm run by Victor Cortez and Veronica Ceja in Hollister, CA. After 25 years in Mexico, they immigrated to Gonzales, California to form their family and in search of more opportunities to improve their livelihoods.
SUNRISE ORGANIC FARM
Nestled in the heart of the Santa Rita Hills, Sunrise Farms grows over 200 varieties of seasonal row crops including sweet, crisp Nantes carrots, kales, peppers and tomatoes.
ARROYO GRANDE BERRY FARM
Maria Iniquez never imagined she would change her career from cosmetologist to farmer. In 2016 Maria took over Arroyo Grande Farm after her brother passed away, with no experience farming and no one to teach her. Arroyo Grande is now harvesting sweet raspberries.
LAPIERRE BLUEBERRIES
The LaPierre Family harvests their blueberries by hand in Zillah, Washington. Now harvesting large, firm Draper blueberries with outstanding flavor through July!
