Covilli Organic Valencia Oranges are grown in San Jose De Guaymas, a coastal region in Sonora known for its microclimate and juicy, high-brix, robustly flavored fruit. 

Alex Madrigal is owner and president of Covilli Brand Organics, a 100-percent-organic and 100-percent-fair-trade produce company headquartered in Nogales, Arizona.

Earl’s team visited Covilli’s Farm in Guaymas, Sonora Mexico.  The farm is situated in a large, open valley, Valle de Empalme, about 30 minutes inland from the Gulf of California with a surrounding ecology of Sonoran desert with Mesquite trees & cacti dominating the flora. 

Covilli Brand Organics might be the first and only grower-shipper that sells ALL their products as 100% ORGANIC and FAIR TRADE. Earl’s visited Covilli and had the opportunity to interview the Fair Trade Committee as a group.
