Now Hiring: Sales Representative II


The Sales Representative II position is to drive sales and profitability for the company through building and cultivating long-term partnerships with customers and growers.


  • Engage in product nuisance, behavior, and seasonality daily. Be curious!  Learn the labels, Growers, area grown, grades, flavors, varieties, differences and similarities.  Be able to clearly explain and educate fellow co-workers and customers alike.     
  • Manage and negotiate ads to drive margin goals at customer level;
  • Manage sales process from prospecting to onboarding;
  • Seek out new business opportunities through prospecting such as cold calling, social media; networking;
  • Educate customers on market conditions and product value;
  • Understand customers’ business needs and their mission and seek appropriate alignment when selling products;
  • Manage any problems that may arise with customers while consistently exercising independent discretion and judgment;
  • Understand customers’ practices and seek agreement with a potential change (when applicable) that may differ from these practices but will benefit both the customers and EOP;
  • Champion customers’ service needs with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Effectively manage customers’ expectations;
  • Train and share best practices with other department team members on a regular basis;
  • Proactively call customers to obtain and manage orders;
  • Participate and contribute ideas and recommendations at sales meetings;
  • Prioritize time spent with customers;
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.




  • Education and/or Experience: Three years’ minimum sales experience in Retail produce or related field.  Three years coordinating/buying retail produce department Ads.  Must be able to demonstrate the understanding of retail mark-up and margins.  Minimum High School degree required while BA or BS preferred.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, and verbally communicating effectively and professionally with other business departments, customers, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Database software.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to think independently and to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of different situations without set guidelines. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, report or schedule form.
  • Other Skills & Abilities: Must be able to work variable hours, days, weekends and Holidays. Able to work with little or no supervision. Ability to prioritize in a time-pressured environment.  Excellent organizational skills. High accuracy in work with attention to detail.  Ability to complete projects in a timely manner. Ability to get along and work cooperatively with others.  Positive and professional attitude.  Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback.  Ability to manage a project from its initiation to completion with minimal supervision.  Solution-oriented attitude with willingness to proactively solve issues.
  • Good Time Management skills:  Must be able to work independently, plan judiciously, and balance workload successfully: Customer visits, working in the office, and working remote.


  • Stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on specific needs of day. Estimate 20% of time is spent on feet and 80% sitting at desk.
  • Have constant need to perform the following physical activities: bending/stooping/squatting, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting and reaching above shoulders.
  • Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities.
  • Consistent need to perform the following physical activities: writing/typing, grasping/turning, finger dexterity.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs to 15lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Vision requirements: consistent need to complete forms. Frequent need to see small detail. Frequent need to see things clearly beyond arm’s reach.
  • Hearing requirements: consistent need to communicate over telephone and in person.


The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but may be high during certain times of the day due to business level.  This position is exposed to temperatures varying from 34 to over 70 degrees and humidity levels varying from 80% to 95%.
